The Squiggly Normans were first created back in 1998 by Chris Hoggins as a means to display his fabric designs. They then sat his studio a decade whilst he persued other projects, attracting the occasonal bemused admirer. That was until my friend Kim suggested that they would look cute if they had faces, at which point the Squiggly Norman was born.

Bear Army came into being after I made my first bear as a Christmas present for my Sister some years ago. After making my first bear, I was hooked. The name came about with my mum saw a row of teddies I had made lined up and said they looked like a little bear army standing at attention.

Chris lives on the south coast of England with way too many toys.
